As a global organization we must continuously challenge ourselves as responsible stewards of the social, cultural, and economic environment to create a better tomorrow today. GRI will continue to grow responsibly by incorporating sustainable business practices. Sustainability is foundational to GRI, and is integral to our long-term business strategy.

Smart Manufacturing

Smart Manufacturing is the perfect blend of leveraging industry expertise, expanding capabilities, and staying on the cusp of automation. From product concept to market distribution, GRI is focused, as a global contract manufacturer, on continuous improvement of efficiencies and aggressive capital investment strategies. We have a team of engineers dedicated to ensure that all our facilities are equipped with the correct equipment to achieve sustainable results for our clients.

Environmental Sustainability

At GRI "sustainability" is more than just a word. "Sustainability" means conducting business responsibly and successfully. Sustainability results in cost savings for our clients, elimination of waste across the world, and improvements for generations to come. A key ingredient in our manufacturing plan is to reduce the impact on the world we all live in through the reduction of waste and energy use. We take great pride in reporting that our main manufacturing campus is a "no waste" facility. All waste is converted into usable material for our local business neighbors; including all film and non-woven materials. Even the ETO gas is recycled into water for coolant.

GRI supports the US nuclear industry in their environmental sustainability efforts with our 100% organic, PVA based nuclear protective apparel product line and processing technology. The product line and technology in terms of the life cycle carbon footprint is the lowest compared to all other industry approaches. The patented processing technology results in unprecedented waste volume reductions, making it an invaluable asset to nuclear facilities across the USA.

Social Responsibility

GRI believes that our most important asset is our employees. We want our employees to feel empowered in a safe working environment that fosters their well-being every day. This principle drives the alignment of our policies, procedures, and supply chain management practices to the highest international standards. GRI takes our social responsibilities very seriously. We employ independent auditors to assure that no opportunities to improve are overlooked and that we are compliant with all labor, safety, and international standards in our facilities.
